After spending endless hours on Rhino, using Tspline objects, Sculptris and scanning my existing physical models, I have managed, by combining all three CAD processes, to construct the perfect computer generated representation of the handle shape I want. So far I have 3d printed this model to make sure the shape is correct. My next steps will to be to mill this shape. I believe I can make the handle more comfortable by making a small concave on the bottom surface of the handle and replacing this with a flexible material. This will increase the comfort of the grip and should be more appropriate for varying hand sizes. Once these steps have been completed I will be attaching the blade.
